Types of Enemies[]
Puppets[]
- Wooden Puppet: Standard Puppet Enemy, comes in multiple colors.
- Dark Puppet: Tougher Puppet with a mohawk and spikes on it's shoulders, comes in multiple colors.
- Puppet Ball: Floating Orb, comes in multiple colors. Unlike later entries in the series, this version has arms.
- Puppet Snake: Crawling Puppet enemy, comes in multiple colors.
- Large Female Puppet: Giant Red Puppet with a flamethrower in it's arms and the ability to shoot rockets from it's chest.
Female Gang Members[]
- Knife: Delinquent with long green hair, a mask, and a long black or blue skirt. Carries a knife.
- Wooden Sword: Delinquent with long green hair, a mask, and a purple skirt, carries a wooden sword.
- Yo-yo: Delinquent with long green hair, a mask, and a long green skirt. Carries a yo-yo.
- Large Gang Member: Very large woman in a suit.
- Thief: Wears a backpack and has red/pink hair, similar to Rat Shinobi from the Versus series.
Anointed Shinobi[]
- Sky: Purple-clad ninja.
- Earth: Brown-clad ninja.
- Water: Blue-clad ninja.
Greater Shinobi[]
- Fire: Red-clad masked ninja, breathes fire.
- Wind: Green-clad masked ninja, sends waves of green energy.
- Poison: Black-clad masked ninja, breathes poison.
Elite Shinobi Guards[]
- Homura Guards: Have red scarfs and use claws as weapons.
- Yomi Guards: Dressed as masked maids and have crossbows.
- Hikage Guards: Green-haired punks with knives.
- Mirai Guards: Women in Western European dress with blindfolds and a tiny hat who carry umbrellas.
- Haruka Guards: Gas-mask wearing cheerleaders.
Shinobi Students[]
- Claws Student: Short-haired girl in a Hebijo uniform who attacks with claws.
- Bomb Student: Pink-haired girl with short pigtails in a Hebijo uniform who throws bombs.
- Swimsuit Student: Blue-haired girl in a school swimsuit wearing a swim cap.
- Gym Student: Long-haired girl in gym clothes.
- Gyaru: Tanned blonde girl in a skimpy school uniform.
- Giant Student: Massive muscular girl in a Hebijo uniform.

Trivia[]
- Most of the Puppet-types did not make it into Senran Kagura: Burst Re:Newal remake, and all of the Shinobi-type enemies were replaced with similar enemies from the Versus series.
- Enemies that have multiple different color variants will always use the same portrait next to their health bar no matter what color they are.
- Some enemies may only appear in the Hebijo campaign.
